Cassandra HinkleThe Recreation Partnership (RP) began in 1995, when ten municipalities and the County made up this unique alliance; it is one of the largest in the state. The Ithaca Youth Bureau is the program provider. The Tompkins County Youth Services Department gives planning and financial coordination. The contributions of the county and the participating municipalities help keep programs affordable and accessible. You are a member of the RP if you live one of the following municipalities: City of Ithaca, Village of Lansing, Towns of Caroline, Danby, Dryden, Enfield, Groton, Ithaca, Newfield, Ulysses (including students who attend Trumansburg Schools). As an RP member you receive a discounted program fee. These programs will have the same price for Rec Partnership as for the City and Town of Ithaca in Community Pass.

Some of our recreation programs are not supported by the Recreation Partnership. Tight budgets have at times decreased the number of programs that the Recreation Partnership is able to support. While the Youth Bureau will still offer these programs there will not be a "Discount" to RP members. These programs are supported by the City of Ithaca and the Town of Ithaca including Cayuga Heights (CH). You will see a higher rate for all non-City and/or Town of Ithaca (incl CH) residents.
In 2023, these City / Town Discounts include: Daily admission (rink and pool) Cass Park season pass fees Cass Park's Learn to Skate (& Swim, when they return) lessons Pavilion and boat rack rental fees |
