The Recreation Partnership (RP) began in 1995, when ten municipalities and the County made up this unique alliance; it is one of the largest in the state. The Ithaca Youth Bureau is the program provider. The Tompkins County Youth Services Department gives planning and financial coordination. The contributions of the county and the participating municipalities help keep programs affordable and accessible. You are a member of the RP if you live one of the following municipalities: City of Ithaca, Village of Lansing, Towns of Caroline, Danby, Dryden, Enfield, Groton, Ithaca, Newfield, Ulysses (including students who attend Trumansburg Schools). As an RP member you receive a discounted program fee. These programs will be labeled "RP discount" in Community Pass.

Some of our recreation programs are not supported by the Recreation Partnership. Tight budgets have decreased the number of programs that the Recreation Partnership is able to support. While the Youth Bureau will still offer these programs there will not be an "RP Discount." These programs are supported by the City of Ithaca. You will see "CD" next to these programs.
